Everyone always says it, and you've probably heard it a thousand times over, but they really do grow and change so quickly!! The first precious images of your brand new baby, the tiny little details - and I can guarantee you will treasure them forever. My newborn sessions are relaxed, and baby led meaning we have plenty of time for cuddles, milk and snapping some gorgeous images in between!
Newborn portrait sessions capture all the brand new details of your little one, between 5-21 days is the ideal time for those sleepy, curled up newborn images. I advise my clients to book in with me following their 20 week ultrasound scan, to guarantee availability around your due date and avoid disappointment. I occasionally have space for last minute newborn bookings, so it's best to get in touch sooner rather than later if this is the case. However, I do only photograph a select amount of newborns each month, so pre-booking your session will ensure your space is secured in my diary. I then book out 2 weeks either side of your expected due date... because we all know babies arrive when they decide! When they do arrive, just let me know and we then schedule a date to capture the curled up newborn cuteness!

Thank you for your interest in booking a session with me, If you feel that I'm the photographer for you, your session can be secured with a £50 retainer fee/pre investment; this secures your booking and this is then deducted from your chosen collection at your viewing session.
Following your session, you will be able to access your own private Online Viewing Gallery, which will consist of approximately 15-20 fully edited images from your session. At your viewing, you will be able to choose your favourite images, and select your chosen package and order products if you wish using my online store
Gift Vouchers are also available, and can be purchased for any amount that covers the packages above
FAQ
Is my deposit deducted from my package?
Yes, the £50 deposit taken at the time of booking is deducted from your chosen package, due at the time of your session
How far in advance should I book my newborn session?
Ideally you should book after having your 20 week scan, but I know these things often get put to the back of your mind during the excitement and organising, so as soon as you can get in touch.
Left it last minute? Don’t worry, I may still have space to offer you a session, pop me a message for availability
How do we choose a date for newborn sessions?
I only book in a maximum of 4 newborn sessions a week to give all my expecting mums the flexibility to adjust the session date, depending on their delivery date, as you would already know, one can never plan when their little ones decide to make an appearance.
I just ask you to just drop me a short message as soon as possible when your baby is here and we can then arrange our session date that fits in for us both. The best time to photograph newborns are the first few weeks, as babies are still very sleepy and happy to pose. After that narrow window of time, they become more alert and aware and not too keen to curl into the cute, sleepy poses we all love.
How do we prepare for our newborn session?
Once you have booked in with me and paid your deposit, you will be emailed across a confirmation of your booking. Once your baby arrives and we have chosen the date, you will receive another email with a brief questionnaire and preparation guide for your session, to ensure it goes as smoothly as possibly
Are sibling and family images included?
Yes, sibling and family images are included in collection Two & Three as they are longer sessions so we have time to capture more images
How long does it take to view my images?
Around two weeks after your session you will be invited back to the studio to view your final edited gallery of images from which to choose your package. At your viewing session you will be shown a beautiful personalised video after which you will select the images. Full payment is due at this session
